[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Namyang Dairy announced on the 4th that it will gradually raise the ex-factory prices of its cheese products starting this month.
The average price increase for cheese products is 10%, with 'Devinci Natural Pasture Cheddar Slice' rising by 9.9% and 'Devinci Bone-Strengthening High Calcium' increasing by 9.8%. This is Namyang Dairy's first cheese price hike in about 15 years.
A Namyang Dairy official stated, "Due to the rise in raw material costs for cheese, as well as increases in logistics and labor expenses, it has become unavoidable to raise the ex-factory prices of our products. The company has made efforts to minimize the increase by reflecting only part of the cost factors to reduce the price burden."
