[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] Korean-American singer-songwriter Anderson Paak and Bruno Mars's project duo 'Silk Sonic' won two awards at the 64th Grammy Awards.

On the 3rd (local time) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, USA, Silk Sonic won 'Record of the Year' for 'Leave The Door Open' at the Grammy Awards. Earlier, they also took home 'Song of the Year,' sweeping two of the four major Grammy categories.

With this win, Bruno Mars has won 'Record of the Year' three times at the Grammy Awards. This is the second record after Paul Simon, a member of the American folk rock duo 'Simon & Garfunkel.'

On stage, Anderson Paak said in his acceptance speech, "We really try our best to stay humble. But in the industry, they call that a sweep," drawing laughter from the audience.

Silk Sonic's 'Leave The Door Open,' released in March last year, reached number one twice on the Billboard main singles chart 'Hot 100.'
