[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Hyundai Home Shopping announced that it will recruit target companies for the 'Rejump R&D Support Project,' which provides a total of 300 million KRW in research and development (R&D) expenses to small and medium-sized partner companies from the 4th to the 15th.
The 'Rejump R&D Support Project,' operated by Hyundai Home Shopping since 2020, is a support program designed to minimize the burden of new product development and home shopping broadcasting costs for small and medium-sized trading partners. The main support items include five areas: ▲mold development costs ▲clinical trial costs ▲product design costs ▲quality inspection costs ▲sample production costs.
Through this recruitment, Hyundai Home Shopping plans to select up to 10 companies and support up to 50 million KRW per company. Including this year's support fund, a total of 750 million KRW will be provided over three years.
Small and medium-sized enterprises trading with Hyundai Home Shopping that wish to participate can submit the application form and other required documents by the 15th via email to the 'Rejump R&D Support Project' reception email. Detailed information is available on the Hyundai Home Shopping official website's Win-Win Community bulletin board.
The selection of target companies will be conducted jointly by Hyundai Home Shopping and the Foundation for Cooperation between Large, Small, and Medium Enterprises in Agriculture and Fisheries. The selection results can be confirmed individually or through the Hyundai Home Shopping official website on the 29th.
A Hyundai Home Shopping official said, "We hope this support project will help excellent small and medium-sized partner companies struggling due to COVID-19 and other difficulties to secure competitiveness, even if only a little," adding, "We plan to continue operating various win-win programs that provide practical help to our partners."
Meanwhile, Hyundai Home Shopping operates package-type comprehensive support projects such as 'Hidden Champion Scale-Up,' which supports insert video production and product development costs to foster newly entering small and medium-sized enterprises, and the 'Overseas Market Development Support Project,' which supports the expansion of overseas sales channels for small and medium-sized enterprises.
