[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on the 1st that the number of unauthorized entrants to Ukraine has increased to six, and that voluntary surrender may be considered a mitigating factor.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated, "As of local time March 30, it has been confirmed that one additional national entered Ukraine without government permission and is currently staying there, bringing the total to six."
The additional entrant is a male born in 1972. Among the six unauthorized entrants, only three are currently reachable.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, "Nationals who entered Ukraine without government permission may have their voluntary surrender considered as a mitigating factor during future investigations and trials."
Meanwhile, excluding unauthorized entrants, the number of nationals staying in Ukraine is currently counted as 26. Among them, 25 wish to remain, and one has left after assessing the local situation.
