LH Introduces ‘Happy Housing’ in Sejong Happy City 6-4 UR2 Block

LH (Korea Land and Housing Corporation) plans to supply Happy Housing in the 6-4 UR2 block of the Administrative City Complex in Sejong City this month. The complex will consist of one building with 2 basement floors and 7 above-ground floors, totaling 609 units with sizes ranging from 21 to 44㎡.


Happy Housing refers to public rental housing located near workplaces and schools or in areas with convenient public transportation. It is a housing product introduced to stabilize the housing of young socially active groups such as youth (aged 19 to 39) and newlyweds.


The number of units supplied by type is ▲21㎡ 54 units ▲26㎡A 76 units ▲26㎡A-1 38 units ▲26㎡B 180 units ▲26㎡B-1 11 units ▲26㎡C 3 units ▲36㎡A 93 units ▲36㎡B 51 units ▲36㎡C 9 units ▲36㎡D 19 units ▲44㎡ 75 units.


The Happy Housing supplied this time attracts attention as it offers excellent natural surroundings amid growing interest in complexes with pleasant living conditions due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic. The complex is adjacent to Sejong Field GC, Gippeumteul Neighborhood Park, and Oganangteul Neighborhood Park, boasting a comfortable residential environment.


It also has convenient living infrastructure. Homeplus and Sejong Chungnam National University Hospital are located nearby, and the 1-1 living zone with abundant living infrastructure is also close. In addition, Haemil Elementary, Haemil Middle, and Haemil High Schools are nearby, providing a one-stop school zone environment.


The transportation environment is also favorable. A BRT station is located near the complex, making it easy to access the Government Sejong Complex. In particular, it is possible to quickly reach Osong Station and Daejeon Station, where KTX trains stop. For vehicle travel, the complex is adjacent to National Road No. 1, facilitating access to nearby areas such as Daejeon. The internal and external ring expressways within the Happy City and the Pocheon-Sejong Expressway are also scheduled to open, further improving the transportation environment in the future.


Meanwhile, attention was also paid to the product features of this Happy Housing. Facilities for residents’ convenience such as daycare centers, community exercise facilities, small libraries, and children's playgrounds are located inside the building, and commercial spaces are arranged on the lower floors of the complex for residents’ convenience.


A sales official said, “As the number of single-person households increases, interest in small-sized housing is rising, and the fact that small Happy Housing is being supplied in Sejong City is already attracting much attention,” adding, “Especially since the supply is aimed at stabilizing housing for young people, we recommend eligible applicants check the subscription schedule and participate in the application.”


The future schedule for Happy Housing in the 6-4 UR2 block of Happy City is that applications will be accepted for five days from April 11 (Mon) to April 15 (Fri) through the LH Subscription Center. For disadvantaged groups who have difficulty applying online, on-site applications will be accepted at the LH Sejong Special Headquarters Rental Consultation Office from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on April 14. The announcement of successful applicants will be on July 7 (Thu), and contracts will be electronically signed over four days from July 18 (Mon) to July 21 (Thu). For disadvantaged groups who have difficulty with electronic contracts, on-site contracts will be conducted at the LH Sejong Special Headquarters Rental Consultation Office from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on July 21.


Meanwhile, the announcement date for tenant recruitment for Happy Housing in the 6-4 UR2 block of Happy City is scheduled for the 31st (Thu) of this month, and inquiries can be made to the LH Sejong Special Headquarters Rental Management Office. The expected move-in date is September 2023.
