[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] AI (Artificial Intelligence) company Saltlux announced on the 31st that it is recruiting demand companies and research institutes eligible for free AI·SW education benefits in connection with the ‘2022 Industry Customized AI Workforce Voucher Support’ project.
The ‘2022 Industry Customized AI Workforce Voucher Support’ project, hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency, is a government support program that matches capable education providers offering AI·SW training with demand companies in need of such support, aiming to foster AI·SW talent suited for the 4th Industrial Revolution and promote companies’ Digital Transformation.
Selected as an education provider, Saltlux holds the largest number of AI and big data-related technology patents in Korea and is the first domestic 4th Industrial Revolution technology company to be listed on KOSDAQ. In cooperation with SBA (Seoul Business Agency), Saltlux has annually operated educational programs such as the ‘Practical SW Expert Training Course Based on the Latest AI’ and the ‘SeSAC Dreaming Developer Debut Course: AI Education,’ successfully linking over 50% of trainees to employment. Additionally, Saltlux was recognized as a core company in the Digital New Deal by conducting government projects worth a total of 23.6 billion KRW last year, including the ‘AI Voucher Support Project’ that assists companies in adopting AI solutions.
Demand companies selected for this project will receive AI·SW education designed by Saltlux’s veteran technical experts. Saltlux plans to precisely analyze the educational requirements of these companies and design customized training courses that cover strategy formulation to introductory, specialized, and convergent levels, enabling employees to immediately apply the skills in their work. Furthermore, practical outcomes such as task derivation and planning support through AI technology will also be assisted. The education will be conducted over approximately six months.
To receive the free AI·SW education provided by Saltlux, inquiries can be made through the promotion center on Saltlux’s official website or via email. Any company or research institute with around 10 employees planning to utilize or adopt AI can apply, and the final selection of support recipients will be made through a review of the education plan jointly submitted by the education provider and demand company.
A Saltlux representative stated, “With our accumulated experience and technological capabilities in AI and big data, we believe we can provide education optimized for demand companies,” adding, “As an industry-leading company that feels a responsibility for ESG management, we will continue to strive to strengthen the national AI·SW industry competitiveness and foster the ecosystem.”
