[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Isul] BTS member Jungkook (Jeon Jungkook) tested positive for COVID-19 in the United States, where he traveled to attend the Grammy Awards.

On the 29th, his agency Big Hit Music stated, "Jungkook tested negative in the PCR test conducted to prepare for the Grammy Awards performance and departed on the 27th (Korean time), but tested positive on the 28th (local time) in the U.S."

They added, "Jungkook is currently self-isolating and receiving treatment according to local quarantine guidelines," and "He has no significant symptoms except for mild sore throat."

His attendance at the Grammy Awards will be decided according to local U.S. regulations.

On the same day, Jungkook posted a voice message on his social media, saying, "I'm okay. This is nothing serious." This appears to be an indirect reference to his participation in the Grammy stage.

With this, all BTS members have been infected with COVID-19 at some point. Following Suga (Min Yoongi) in December last year, RM (Kim Namjoon), Jin (Kim Seokjin), V (Kim Taehyung), and Jimin (Park Jimin) were sequentially confirmed positive and have since recovered. J-Hope (Jung Hoseok) was infected before departure and is currently undergoing home treatment; he plans to travel to the U.S. after recovery.

BTS is scheduled to perform at the 64th Grammy Awards on April 3 in Las Vegas, USA. They are nominated for 'Best Pop Duo/Group Performance' and are considered strong contenders to win. Additionally, they will hold solo concerts in Las Vegas on April 8-9 and 15-16.
