Sancheong-gun Holds First Industrial Safety and Health Committee Meeting of the Year... Deliberation and Resolution on Comprehensive Industrial Accident Prevention Plan Agenda

Sancheong County is holding the regular general meeting of the Industrial Safety and Health Committee.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam held the first regular meeting of the Occupational Safety and Health Committee this year to prevent industrial accidents that may occur at construction sites and workplaces.

At the '2022 1st Regular Meeting of the Occupational Safety and Health Committee,' attended by about 10 user and worker committee members, major matters related to safety and health at key workplaces implemented by Sancheong-gun were deliberated and resolved.

The attendees addressed ▲ the comprehensive plan for preventing industrial accidents in the county this year ▲ the plan for safety and health education this year ▲ changes to the county's safety and health management regulations ▲ the plan to implement risk assessments ▲ the plan to investigate musculoskeletal harmful factors, among others.

Sancheong-gun has been operating the Occupational Safety and Health Committee, composed of users and workers, since 2019 to maintain and promote the safety and health of labor providers.

An official from the county said, “Preventing industrial accidents is a shared goal that both workers and users must consider and take responsibility for together,” adding, “We will do our best to protect the safety of the sites and workers.”
