The man threw the soju bottle at former President Park, who was delivering a public message in front of her residence in Ssanggyeri, Yuga-eup, Dalseong-gun, Daegu, on the afternoon of the 24th, while waiting at the photo zone opposite her.


The soju bottle fell and broke on the ground about 5 to 6 meters away from former President Park, but there were no casualties.


The Dalseong Police Station in Daegu applied for an arrest warrant on the 25th on charges of attempted special injury.


According to the police, the man denied any connection with the People's Revolutionary Party he claimed to be associated with, and it was revealed that he had created and operated an internet cafe related to the Inhyukdang.


It is known that he had previously been hospitalized for treatment at a psychiatric hospital.
