The Russian side explained that the facility is used for fuel supply to the Ukrainian army. It is reported that this facility is the largest fuel storage facility maintained by the Ukrainian military to date.
Meanwhile, the Associated Press and others reported that missile attacks by the Russian military continued on a military facility on the outskirts of Dnipro, a city in south-central Ukraine. Valentyn Reznichenko, governor of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, described it as "severe destruction" on social media.
