Loen Company Ranks 77th in FT's Asia-Pacific High-Growth Companies with Lotok

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Law&Company has been recognized for its growth potential as the only domestic legal tech company to be named a '2022 Asia-Pacific High-Growth Company.'

Law&Company, the operator of the legal service platform 'LawTalk,' announced on the 21st that it was ranked 77th among the top 500 '2022 Asia-Pacific High-Growth Companies' selected by the British financial magazine Financial Times and the global research firm Statista.

Since 2018, the Financial Times, together with Statista, has annually selected 500 companies with high growth rates from 13 Asia-Pacific countries. Rankings are based on various criteria such as annual revenue, business model, and average annual growth rate. This year, companies with revenues exceeding $100,000 in 2017 and $1 million in 2020 were evaluated based on their business performance from 2017 to 2020.

Approximately 15,000 companies were reviewed, with 500 making the final ranking. Companies ranked within the top 100 demonstrated an average annual revenue growth of about 100% or more, indicating strong growth potential and robust business models.

Law&Company participated for the first time this year, recording a revenue growth rate of 772% and an average annual growth rate of 105.9% during the evaluation period, ultimately ranking 77th. Among the selected companies, 52 were domestic, with Law&Company placing 14th among them, securing a top position.

In July last year, Law&Company was recognized for its corporate value and growth potential by being selected as a '2021 Preliminary Unicorn Special Guarantee Support Company' by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. Recently, through Series C investment, it achieved a cumulative investment of 40 billion KRW. The company is actively conducting technological research to advance legal services and launched 'BigCase,' a legal information search service with the largest database of precedents in Korea, earlier this year.

Kim Bon-hwan, CEO of Law&Company, expressed, "We feel a heavy responsibility as the only domestic legal tech company selected, and we will do our best to achieve greater growth through innovative services in the future."
