Gwangju University AI Automotive Department Accelerates Training of Technical Public Officials

On the 21st, Gwangju University announced that it recently held a department development plan and career briefing session for technical public officials targeting 66 students of the AI Automotive Engineering Department at the Automobile Structure Design Room on the 5th floor of the Tamjin Building.

Starting next month, a special class will be organized and operated for students interested in local government technical and driving positions as well as military technical positions (vehicles).

In addition, in July, a special lecture program on the common subject Korean History will be prepared to systematically support exam passing and employment.

Jung Sungin, head of the AI Automotive Engineering Department at Gwangju University, said, “Through the operation of the technical public official class, we believe it will broaden the career choices of students and improve the department’s employment rate. We also expect that students’ pride and satisfaction will increase.”

Meanwhile, the AI Automotive Engineering Department, participating in the Gwangju-Jeonnam Regional Platform for Future Transportation Devices, is also focusing on nurturing specialized talent in the field of AI personal mobility.

In particular, aiming to cultivate practical professional talent and AI convergence creative talent, the department plans to enhance employment capabilities through customized education to train future automobile experts in areas such as eco-friendly IT-converged smart green cars, autonomous driving, and smart safety automobile technology acquisition.
