Yoon to Preside Over Tuesday and Thursday Meetings</em> President-elect Yoon Suk-yeol is having a luncheon meeting with the heads of six economic organizations at the Presidential Transition Committee office in Tongui-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, on the 21st.

The Presidential Transition Committee announced on the 21st that it plans to select the next administration's national agenda in early May and make a public announcement to the people. President-elect Yoon Seok-yeol plans to personally preside over meetings every Tuesday and Thursday with this goal in mind.


Spokesperson Shin Yong-hyun revealed this schedule during a briefing at the Transition Committee office in Samcheong-dong on the same day. According to the schedule, President-elect Yoon will preside over the secretariat meetings every Tuesday at 10 a.m. and the sectoral work reports every Thursday at 10 a.m.


Transition Committee Chairperson Ahn Cheol-soo will preside over the secretariat meetings on Sundays at 3 p.m., the full meetings on Mondays at 9 a.m., and secretariat meetings on Wednesdays and Fridays at 9 a.m. respectively.


Spokesperson Shin said, "The President-elect will share the new government's national philosophy and vision, personally oversee the core national agenda, demonstrating deep understanding, interest, and commitment to implementation," adding, "This is expected to lead to increased effectiveness in executing the national agenda during the term."


The Transition Committee plans to receive work reports from major ministries by sector by the 25th of this month, and complete reports from other ministries by the 29th.


Regarding the order of work reports, Spokesperson Shin explained, "Which ministries will be selected as major ministries to report first will be decided by each sector."


The Transition Committee will review the national agenda by sector by the end of this month, hold the first selection on April 4, the second selection on April 18, and finalize the plan on April 25. Afterwards, the finalized national agenda will be reported at the full meeting on May 2, and President-elect Yoon will directly finalize and announce the national agenda from May 4 to 9.
