Jeon Nam-do Councilor Lee Min-jun Expresses Intention to Run for Mayor of Naju City Lee Min-jun, Jeonnam Provincial Assembly Member.

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Lee Minjun, a Jeonnam Provincial Assembly member, is officially planning to run for mayor of Naju.

According to a representative of Assemblyman Lee Minjun on the 21st, a press conference to declare his candidacy for Naju mayor will be held at 2 p.m. on the 23rd at the Naju Citizens' Hall.

Last February and March, when the "Korea Energy University Act" was pending in the National Assembly, Assemblyman Lee held a press conference urging the enactment of the law and demonstrated with placards at the National Assembly and the People Power Party headquarters, showing his commitment to addressing Naju's local issues through actions rather than words.

At this declaration press conference, he plans to share his reflections on 20 years of local politics and present his vision and feasible pledges for the development of Naju as a mayoral candidate.

Assemblyman Lee Minjun is a three-term provincial assembly member who served in the 7th, 10th, and 11th Jeonnam Provincial Assemblies, possessing over 20 years of experience in local politics. While many sought opportunities by moving to large cities and the metropolitan area, he remained as an assembly member protecting Naju and has made various efforts for a better life for Naju citizens.
