Newly appointed inside director Choi Yoon-ho previously served as Vice President of the Business Support TF and President of Samsung Electronics' Management Support Office, and was appointed CEO of Samsung SDI at the end of last year.

CEO Choi stated, "I feel a great sense of responsibility and mission in taking charge of Samsung SDI, which is gaining attention as a future growth business in batteries and electronic materials," adding, "Based on the diverse experiences accumulated at domestic and overseas sites, I will work together with employees to make Samsung SDI a truly number one company."
