According to BankMall on the 15th, since the platform's launch in January, the number of members has reached approximately 20,000, with a cumulative loan inquiry count of about 30,000 and a total loan application amount exceeding 500 billion KRW.
A BankMall representative stated, "For over 10 years, BankMall has provided interest rate comparison services for mortgage loans and jeonse deposit loans from banks, insurance companies, savings banks, and capital companies. As real estate regulations frequently change and tighten, causing confusion in the real estate market, we have played a role as a guide for financial consumers through professional consultants."
The newly renewed BankMall has been designed in accordance with the Financial Consumer Protection Act to ensure that the consultants' subjective opinions are not reflected. Through an algorithm that incorporates mortgage loan regulations, users can compare mortgage and jeonse deposit loans and diagnose interest rates simply by clicking on the website without the need for phone consultations.
Moreover, recently, mortgage loan products from major insurance companies such as Samsung Life, Kyobo Life, and Hanwha Life have been added. With more insurance companies expected to join, BankMall is likely to maintain its status as the mortgage loan comparison platform with the most financial institution partnerships.
Additionally, BankMall has partnered with the credit evaluation company KCB (Korea Credit Bureau) to offer the ‘BankMall Credit Score’ service, allowing users to check their credit scores and credit information provided by KCB All Credit for free. It also provides services that enable users to register ‘My Real Estate Additions’ and ‘Interested Complexes’ based on KB Real Estate prices and Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport actual transaction prices, allowing them to check KB prices, actual transaction prices, surrounding market prices, and nearby amenities, thereby enhancing consumer convenience.
Currently, BankMall hosts about 13 financial institutions including SC First Bank, Daegu Bank, Hanwha Life, Kyobo Life, and Samsung Life. It plans to expand consumer choices by signing additional business consignment contracts with around 20 more financial institutions during the first half of the year.
