Maximizing Thrust with Energy Flow and Enhancing Safety by Preventing Twisting
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Outdoor brand NEPA announced on the 14th that it has launched the high-elastic cushioning trekking shoes ‘Highflow Gore-Tex,’ optimized for trekking, to mark the full-fledged spring outdoor season.
The Highflow Gore-Tex, newly introduced by NEPA for this spring/summer (S/S) season, features excellent propulsion and cushioning, and is presented as the so-called ‘high-tension trekking shoes that increase tension.’ It combines the stability of traditional trekking shoes with the cushioning and elasticity characteristics of running shoes, providing the best fit and propulsion for trekking activities on any terrain.
The outsole’s high-elastic ENERGYFLOW plate maximizes propulsion with natural rebound elasticity, increases the efficiency of kinetic energy, and offers optimal mobility. It also prevents foot twisting to adapt to a stable trekking environment. In January this year, it was verified for propulsion and shock absorption functions in a biomechanical performance evaluation of walking shoes at the Busan Footwear Industry Promotion Center.
The material functionality is also outstanding. Equipped with Gore-Tex Invisible Fit, it provides waterproof, windproof, and breathable functions necessary for outdoor activities. The front sole of the Energy Shot outsole contains 30% butyl rubber, offering excellent grip. The lightweight and highly breathable engineered mesh material and seamless construction provide a light and comfortable feel even after long hours of wear. Additionally, the Boa Fit system allows quick and precise fitting by turning a dial without laces.
The Highflow Gore-Tex is available in two unisex colors: black and white; three colors for men: gray, blue, and navy; and three colors for women: gray, pink, and light gray.
NEPA also released a TV commercial for Highflow Gore-Tex under the slogan ‘Push with propulsion, hold with stability.’ The TV commercial showcases enjoying free trekking activities with ‘high tension’ in various outdoor environments such as ▲trekking with a pet dog ▲walking along the sea path ▲cave trekking ▲trekking photography trips ▲solo camping ▲coastal road walking and fishing.
A NEPA representative said, “As the spring season, ideal for outdoor activities, approaches, we have introduced Highflow Gore-Tex for comfortable and pleasant trekking. We believe customers will experience increased tension with the propulsion that pushes and the stability that holds.”
