Eunpyeong Baeummoa Launches 'Gangsa eEum' Service

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Eunpyeong-gu’s official local education platform, Eunpyeong Baeummoa, will launch the ‘Gangsa e-eum’ service from March, connecting instructors with local communities.

Gangsa e-eum means connecting instructors with local institutions and organizations through an online platform, and the name was directly chosen by Eunpyeong citizens through a ‘citizen participation naming contest.’

Instructors can register their profiles directly, and institutions such as community centers, libraries, and schools can request instructors through Eunpyeong Baeummoa when they need to plan and operate educational programs.

Eunpyeong Baeummoa not only provides information but also acts as a mediator allowing instructors and local institutions to communicate directly, thereby establishing an online platform space led by citizens.

Anyone capable of conducting lectures can easily apply for registration and create a profile on Gangsa e-eum. Registration applications are available in the instructor registration category on the Eunpyeong Baeummoa website.

An official from the district office stated, “The Gangsa e-eum service is expected to meet the demand for local instructor information and resolve difficulties small organizations face in recruiting instructors.”
