[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Yangcheon-gu (Mayor Kim Soo-young) held the opening ceremony of Galsan Culture and Arts Center at 2 p.m. on the 11th. Galsan Culture and Arts Center will be operated as a family-oriented cultural and artistic specialized facility representing Yangcheon-gu, serving as a foundation for the leap toward becoming a 'cultural city' Yangcheon.

On this day, the opening ceremony included tape cutting and facility touring events, attended by key guests such as Kim Soo-young, Mayor of Yangcheon-gu, city and district council members, and local residents.

Galsan Culture and Arts Center is a building with two basement floors and four above-ground floors, equipped with cultural facilities such as exhibition halls, an art hall, and Ainuri Hall.

Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi), together with Jungnang Fashion Sewing Cooperative (Chairman Choi Sang-jin) and Korea Sewing Industry Association, will donate relief supplies worth 100 million KRW to residents affected by wildfires in the East Coast region.

The district provided shared equipment rooms and various cutting equipment, while Jungnang Fashion Sewing Cooperative and Korea Sewing Industry Association produced donated items such as clothing, socks, shoes, and masks.

Additionally, the sewing organizations collected 8 million KRW in donations, which will be donated along with the relief supplies to the Uljin Community Chest of Korea.

Ryu Kyung-gi, Mayor of Jungnang-gu, said, “We produced various relief supplies hoping to help residents who lost their homes and are deeply distressed due to the sudden disaster. I sincerely thank Jungnang Fashion Sewing Cooperative and Korea Sewing Industry Association for their warm-hearted donations along with the production of relief supplies.”
