On the 10th, his agency Sky E&M announced, "Boom will hold a private wedding ceremony on April 9th at a location in Seoul, attended by both families' parents and close acquaintances."
Regarding the bride-to-be, they said, "They had been acquaintances for a long time and naturally developed a romantic relationship through deep empathy and communication. They decided to marry with a firm belief that they are partners who can share life before and after marriage."
On the same day, Boom greeted fans with a handwritten letter on his fan cafe, saying, "I debuted at 17, and 24 years have already passed, making me forty-one years old. I have always dreamed of building a happy family in my heart. I will show you the image of a good husband who carefully cares for and embraces his family and wife."
Boom debuted in 1997 as a key member of the mixed group Ki, and later was active in groups Nuclear and Reka. He became known as a reporter for MBC's 'Section TV Entertainment News.' He gained popularity with catchphrases like 'Boom-ieyo' and 'Newgyu' while appearing on variety shows such as 'Strong Heart,' 'Star King,' and 'Introducing Star's Friends.' Recently, he has appeared on shows including 'Tomorrow's Mr. Trot,' 'Bongsunga Academy,' 'Amazing Saturday,' 'Save Me, Holmes,' and 'It's a Relief If We Don't Fight.'
