'Franchisees and Headquarters Are One'... Coffee Bay's Franchisee Win-Win Activities Draw Attention


[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon]Coffeebay is attracting attention by implementing win-win policies for franchise stores struggling due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.


According to the industry on the 9th, Coffeebay recently held an ‘Excellent Franchise Store Award’ ceremony, presenting plaques and coffee beans to stores that have led their operations exemplary throughout the year to boost store owners' morale. The excellent franchise stores were selected based on evaluation criteria such as QSC (Quality, Service, Cleanness), and especially, with the strengthening of ESG management, the eco-friendly and win-win sectors, which have emerged as important factors, were also evaluated to award the ‘ESG Management Award’.


Additionally, Coffeebay is gaining attention by continuously promoting its brand through various channels such as TV programs and SNS to increase sales and brand awareness. They are making efforts in various ways to secure franchise store sales, including developing new menus that reduce seasonal impacts and ensure stable sales every season, and implementing delivery discount promotions timely to boost delivery sales.


Meanwhile, every year, the Fair Trade Commission and the Korea Fair Trade Mediation Agency select 100 franchise headquarters as ‘Good Franchises.’ Coffeebay was recognized for its various support policies for franchise owners and was designated as a ‘Good Franchise’ for two consecutive years and selected as one of the ‘Top 3 Excellent Win-Win Model Franchises.’
