Want to Solve Local Social Issues? ... Changwon Youth Network 'Youth Plus' Participant Recruitment Recruitment for participants of the 2022 Changwon Youth Network Youth Plus will be held until the 23rd.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] Changwon City in Gyeongnam Province and the Changwon Cultural City Support Center are recruiting participants for this year's Changwon Youth Network ‘Youth Plus’ until the 23rd.

The ‘2022 Youth Plus Project’ is a preliminary cultural city project designed to strengthen youth social participation capabilities and create jobs aimed at solving social problems.

It aims to form sustainable networks among youth and to view and solve regional social issues from the youth perspective by region.

Any youth living in Changwon can participate, and they can engage in activities using local social issues they have been interested in or want to solve as experimental topics.

Youth interested in culture, arts, local matters, startups, content, and youth-related activists who plan to settle and continue activities in the region through discovering local content or promoting projects can also participate.

After recruiting participants until March 23, teams of three will be formed in each of Changwon, Masan, and Jinhae following a review process.

The project will proceed from workshops through October, and youth in the Jinhae area will carry out activities in connection with the Chungmu District Urban Regeneration Field Support Center ‘Youth Perspective’.

Participants will receive project promotion funds per team, and certificates of completion will be issued to those who participate in more than 70% of the activities.

One outstanding participant and one outstanding team will be selected per region, and they will receive benefits such as linkage with future cultural city and urban regeneration projects.

Those wishing to participate can check the announcement and application details on the Changwon Cultural City Support Center website, the Urban Regeneration Support Center website, or the Changwon City Hall website, and submit the Naver Form, a Naver document creation service, by the 23rd.

Kim Hwayoung, Director of the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau, said, “This will provide an opportunity to experience community as a member of society by solving social problems and meeting various stakeholders,” and added, “We hope for active participation in projects seeking solutions to our local social issues.”
