Oral probiotics are live microorganisms, and to establish them in the mouth, it is recommended to dissolve them like candy after brushing teeth before bedtime. They do not contain sugars that can cause cavities and suppress and eliminate the growth of harmful bacteria while sleeping, promoting the proliferation of beneficial bacteria to maintain a healthy oral bacterial balance. The Lactobacillus gut probiotics, which have excellent inhibitory effects on harmful bacteria and acid resistance, use microencapsulation technology to survive until reaching the intestines.
In particular, oraCMU and oraCMS1 contained in Oratics Kids are native oral probiotics derived from the mouths of Korean children. From 460 Korean children with healthy oral conditions, 1,640 strains were isolated, and among them, strains with outstanding safety, oral colonization ability, and inhibitory effects on harmful bacteria were selected and isolated.
According to a human application test jointly conducted by Orapharm and Kangwon National University, the test group that consumed oraCMU showed a 47.8% reduction in gum bleeding index compared to the control group, and Fusobacterium nucleatum, which causes periodontal disease and bad breath, decreased by 79.6%.
