[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] On the 28th, Yoon Seok-yeol, the presidential candidate of the People Power Party, said, "They can't even call (North Korea's) provocations provocations," adding, "This is exactly because it is a movement-right regime."

At a campaign event in Donghae, Gangwon Province, Yoon said, "Yesterday, candidate Lee Jae-myung said in Changwon that North Korea conducted eight missile launch tests capable of carrying nuclear warheads this year, but isn't that normal?"

He pointed out that security and the economy go hand in hand, saying, "How can you protect the people and lead the country's economy with such foolish and twisted thinking?"

Regarding the ruling party's proposed 'political reform plan,' Yoon called it a 'diversion,' stating, "The election campaign has been going on for months, but they didn't do this until ten days before the presidential election. Isn't this treating the people like fools? Can we entrust the country to those who treat the sovereign people, the owners of the country, like fools and try to conduct the election through manipulation and brainwashing?"

About the recent first supplementary budget that provided 3 million won in quarantine support funds to small business owners and self-employed individuals, he referred to it as a 'deceptive scam.' Yoon emphasized, "You shouldn't be fooled by this money," adding, "After the election, if we take over the government, we will thoroughly investigate all actual damages and compensate you fully."
