Mayor Heo Seong-mu: "Overcoming Together Will Be an Opportunity for Leap Forward"
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] Changwon City, Gyeongnam, will hold an online briefing session for small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) support projects starting from March 2.
The city holds annual briefing sessions to help companies more easily access and utilize information while implementing SME support projects.
Due to the large-scale spread of COVID-19, since last year, the briefing sessions have been conducted online in a non-face-to-face format through Changwon City's official YouTube channel, ‘Chucheon Changwon’.
The online briefing will introduce major support projects in five areas: Changwon Enterprise Support Group, funding and investment, business growth, workforce training and jobs, startups, and export support.
Detailed information can be accessed through the SME Support Guide booklet and e-book, and the first 300 companies who participate by commenting on the briefing session’s YouTube video will receive the booklet by mail.
The SME Support Guide contains information on 108 projects across 10 areas of city support policies and 109 projects supported by 15 related organizations including the Changwon Industry Promotion Agency.
The booklet file (PDF) can be downloaded by entering the Corporate Support section under the Corporate Economic Information menu on the Changwon City Hall website and clicking on the Corporate Support Policy Guide.
Mayor Heo Seong-mu said, “If we overcome difficulties such as rising raw material prices and the spread of variant viruses together, we can rather leap forward. Changwon Special City will lead the future of SMEs with differentiated competitiveness, empowered by greater autonomy and self-governance to be granted in the future.”
