LX Hausys Launches 'GangGreen Pro' Durable Hardwood Flooring with Enhanced Durability

[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] LX Hausys announced on the 24th that it has launched a new durable engineered wood flooring product, 'LX Z:IN Flooring Ganggreen Pro,' to welcome the spring interior season.

Unlike conventional engineered wood flooring on the market that uses wood plywood, Ganggreen Pro applies high-density fiberboard (HDF) made by processing wood fibers. This makes it resistant to external impacts such as dents, scratches, and pressure.

As it is composed of a thick single veneer board rather than a plywood structure made by bonding multiple veneers, it offers superior durability compared to LX Hausys' existing engineered wood flooring products.

Additionally, the surface protection layer uses a high-performance surface material made of high-pressure laminate (HPL) compressed at high temperature and pressure, making it resistant to everyday scratches and moisture, reducing deformation even when exposed to humidity or long-term submersion.

Moreover, a special wood veneer layer, which was not present in previous engineered wood flooring, has been added to the bottom surface that contacts the concrete floor, enhancing adhesion and floor contact, thereby reducing common issues such as lifting or warping after installation.

LX Hausys filed a patent in December last year for this differentiated manufacturing technology of engineered wood flooring product structure.

Ganggreen Pro is available in a total of 20 colors across five design concepts that vividly express natural tones, including ‘Low Oak,’ ‘Golden Teak,’ and ‘Pure Walnut.’ In particular, a printing method that nearly doubles the pattern size has been applied to minimize repetitive patterns and realize a differentiated design that preserves the natural wood feel.

An LX Hausys official stated, “Ganggreen Pro addresses customers’ most inconvenient complaints after flooring installation, such as dents, scratches, lifting, and warping, and has received a warm response in the market immediately after its release. With its diverse designs, it is expected to be the best choice for consumers preparing for spring interior renovations such as floor replacement.”
