Samsung Expands 'Samsung Care Plus Case Subscription' to Tablet PCs

Damage Protection, On-Site Repair, and Genuine Case Included
Also Applicable to Galaxy S22 Buyers

[Asia Economy Reporter Minyoung Cha] Samsung Electronics announced on the 24th that it will launch the 'Samsung Care+ Case Subscription' service on the 25th for customers who purchase the 'Galaxy S22' and 'Galaxy Tab S8' series.

The Samsung Care+ Case Subscription service is a monthly subscription product that adds genuine cases to the mobile total care service 'Samsung Care+ Damage Protection.' It was first introduced last year alongside the launch of the 3rd generation foldable phone in the second half of the year.

Customers who purchase the S22 series and subscribe to the 'Samsung Care+ Case Subscription' service can receive damage protection twice, three on-site repair services, and receive genuine cases three times within one year.

This year, the subscription service scope is expanded not only to smartphones but also to tablets. Customers who purchase the Galaxy Tab S8 series can receive damage protection three times, and within one year, receive genuine cases twice and a 'Monami 153 S Pen.'

For the S22 and S22 Plus(+), customers can freely choose from nine types of genuine cases, and for the S22 Ultra, from eight types. Among them, if customers select ▲Frame Cover ▲Protective Standing Cover ▲Silicone Cover with Strap, they will also receive collaborative accessories that can be used in combination with the cover. The monthly subscription fee is 12,900 KRW.

For the Tab S8 series, genuine cases such as ▲Book Cover ▲Protective Standing Cover ▲Strap Cover are available for selection. The monthly subscription fee is 13,900 KRW for the Tab S8, 14,900 KRW for the Tab S8+, and 16,900 KRW for the Tab S8 Ultra.

A 10% discount is offered on the monthly subscription fee for lump-sum payment of the one-year plan, and the service can be subscribed to through the Samsung Members application (app) from the 25th until April 30th. Subscribing for one year can save up to 35% and 41% respectively compared to separately purchasing Samsung Care+ and genuine cases or S Pens.
