Busan Technopark Foundation Supports Cryon at '2022 SPOEX' Online and Offline Live Show

The Busan Technopark Foundation will once again present the YouTube live show titled "Beat the Brand" at the '2022 Seoul International Sports Leisure Industry Exhibition,' following its participation in 2021.

Following the successful conclusion of the '2021 Seoul International Sports Leisure Industry Exhibition,' the live show will be held over two days, February 18-19 (12:00-14:00), at '2022 Seoul International Sports Leisure Industry Exhibition (SPOEX),' the largest comprehensive sports leisure industry exhibition in Korea, hosted by the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation and the Korea International Trade Association.

The Busan Technopark Foundation, together with Creon Co., Ltd., will oversee the filming, production, artist management, and global marketing of the YouTube channel (BusanTP.Healthcare) live streaming event to create excellent domestic and international brand promotion marketing results for small and medium-sized enterprises struggling with marketing due to COVID-19.

According to the organizers, unlike last year’s event which was held online only, the 2022 Seoul International Sports Leisure Industry Exhibition (SPOEX) will be conducted both online and offline simultaneously. At this exhibition, the Busan Technopark Foundation will establish a joint exhibition hall for eight companies as part of the 'Regional Convergence Sports Industry Hub Development Project' and will conduct online live broadcasts for company promotion by recruiting domestic influencers.

The Busan Technopark Foundation stated, "This year’s exhibition will allow viewers to watch the live broadcast via mobile phones and PCs while also visiting the venue to experience the products firsthand," adding, "We are preparing an exhibition that widely promotes Busan sports companies nationwide and facilitates communication."

They also said, "For companies participating in the joint exhibition hall, we plan to hold innovative events that allow both onsite audiences and online viewers to interact and enjoy, not just simple promotional content, so we encourage many to participate."

During the exhibition, for two days from 12:00 to 14:00, Busan Technopark will operate various entertainment programs and quizzes related to the diverse products displayed in the joint hall and the eight companies, enabling interaction between onsite audiences and online viewers. Prizes will be awarded to the most engaged audience members and viewers during the exhibition period.

The participating companies are Two Hands Interactive, Core Movement, GHE Inotech, Langfit, Human Balance, Sunic, Apdo Vitech, and N2.

Hosted by announcers Ha Kyung Lee and Hwangjoong Kim, influencers will appear as guests in an entertaining show format where they experience products from eight smart sports brands and play simple games.

Over the two days, a total of four guests (influencers) will join Busan companies on "Beat the Brand" to provide witty and enjoyable entertainment to the audience and viewers.

On the 18th, Lee Jeonghwan (CogTV), a fitness creator with 460,000 subscribers, and Jung Taekyun (Marvel J), a cast member of Steel Troops, will participate. On the 19th, travel YouTuber Dirty (Yeorakideul) with 630,000 subscribers and Steel Troops cast member Kim Hyundong will join.

Selected as a project operator by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation, Busan City and the Busan Technopark Foundation operate a one-stop business support system tailored to the growth stages of approximately 121 small and medium-sized enterprises located in Busan and Gyeongnam annually through the 'Regional Convergence Sports Industry Hub Development Project,' in collaboration with participating institutions such as Busan Catholic University, Korea Conformity Laboratories, and Korea Research Institute of Standards and Science. This includes nurturing startup incubation teams, prototype stage support, product commercialization support, and business stage support.

This project aims to create jobs in the sports industry based on the convergence of ICT and smart healthcare technologies, promote related industries, and revitalize the local economy.

Heo Junhoe, Director of the Smart Healthcare Center at Busan Technopark Foundation, said, "Through various support projects including domestic exhibitions and online live marketing supported by the Regional Convergence Sports Industry Hub Development Project, we will strive to provide significant assistance to small and medium-sized sports companies based in Busan."

Jung Eun Kim, CEO of Creon Co., Ltd., stated, "Over the past two years, Creon has understood the difficulties faced by small and medium-sized enterprises in the sports and leisure sectors in developing new sales channels due to COVID-19 and has implemented creative marketing campaigns tailored to the characteristics of their products, providing much help and opportunities. This upcoming event is meaningful as it supports various sports industry development projects on the path to With-Corona, so we ask for active participation onsite and interest online."
