[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] Beauty specialty brand Beauty Bakery is accelerating its blockchain platform business through collaboration with a popular mobile game developer.
On the 14th, Beauty Bakery announced that it signed an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) with Snowpipe, a domestic mobile game development company, to expand the blockchain new business 'LOTT Project'.
Snowpipe is a game development specialist company that develops mobile games using popular IPs such as ‘Sakura Wars’ and ‘Digu Wang Tongki’. Through this agreement, both companies plan to strengthen cooperation in blockchain platform development and marketing, including LOTT tokens, metaverse, and NFTs.
The 'LOTT Project' is a new blockchain platform business that applies NFT technology to K-Beauty, K-POP, and various other fields, using the 'LOTT Token' as a payment method. The ‘LOTT Token’ will be used not only on the LOTT platform but also as a payment method within the metaverse ecosystem linked to the LOTT Project, and it is expected to be available for use at external offline stores through future partnerships.
A representative from Beauty Bakery stated, "Based on the development know-how possessed by Snowpipe, we expect the development of the LOTT platform and entry into the blockchain business to accelerate," adding, "We will continue to expand the blockchain new business by collaborating with companies in various fields such as gaming and bio."
Meanwhile, Beauty Bakery is actively promoting cross-industry collaboration to expand the ‘LOTT Project’. Last November, it signed a business agreement with Medic Bio NK, a company specializing in immuno-oncology drug research and development. The strategy is to apply blockchain technology to the bio and medical technology fields together with Medic Bio NK.
