[Asia Economy Reporter Yoon Dong-joo] Lee Jae-myung, the presidential candidate of the Democratic Party of Korea, attended an emergency meeting of representatives from nationwide self-employed and small business organizations held at the Customer Support Center of Bangsin Traditional Market in Banghwa-dong, Gangseo-gu, Seoul on the 8th.


At the meeting, Lee said, "It is absolutely unacceptable for small business owners and self-employed people to make extreme choices, close their businesses, and go bankrupt," adding, "We will secure 50 trillion won through an emergency financial order to fully compensate for the losses incurred over the past two years."
