Expecting Improved Hospital Work Efficiency
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-joo] Hecton Project, a hospital-level electronic medical record (EMR) solution company, announced on the 7th that it will link its EMR 'Doctors' with the 'Ttokdak' application and newly introduce kiosks within hospitals to enhance patient convenience and alleviate the workload in medical settings.
'Ttokdak' is an app for booking and registering hospital and clinic appointments, allowing patients to easily schedule hospital visits by checking everything from reservations to registration and waiting status, while hospitals can efficiently manage related tasks. Additionally, hospitals using 'Doctors' will be able to promote to Ttokdak members, which is expected to help attract new patients. There are about 13,000 hospitals and clinics partnered with Ttokdak, with over 6.6 million members.
With the newly launched kiosks, patients can directly and quickly handle tasks such as ▲registration and payment of medical fees ▲issuance of medical fee receipts ▲prescription issuance ▲printing of documents for insurance claims. This reduces unnecessary waiting times and allows hospitals to operate personnel more effectively by distributing simple tasks. The kiosks can be used not only through purchase but also via operational leasing, lowering the initial adoption cost and providing free A/S support during the lease period (36 months).
Lee Dong-dae, Vice President of Hecton Project, said, "We are preparing various measures to improve the deteriorated management difficulties of small and medium-sized hospitals due to the COVID-19 pandemic," adding, "The linkage with Ttokdak and the supply of kiosks will help reduce hospital costs and increase patient inflow."
