From 10 AM on the 7th until funds run out, first-come-first-served... Online applications open at the Ecoimol eco-friendly agricultural products shopping mall for pregnant women
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Dobong-gu (Mayor Lee Dong-jin) will accept applications on a first-come, first-served basis from 10 a.m. on the 7th through ‘Ecoimall’ for the 'Eco-friendly Agricultural Products Package for Pregnant Women' project, which supplies healthy eco-friendly food to pregnant women and newborns and helps farms struggling due to COVID-19.
The eligibility for applying for the Eco-friendly Agricultural Products Package for Pregnant Women is limited to Dobong-gu residents who have given birth since January 1, 2021, and current pregnant women. This year, the support target number in Dobong-gu is 368 people.
The Eco-friendly Agricultural Products Package for Pregnant Women consists of fresh agricultural products certified as eco-friendly, livestock products (some), and processed foods. Eligible recipients can receive eco-friendly agricultural products worth up to 480,000 KRW (including a personal payment of 96,000 KRW) from the date of application approval until December.
Recipients can purchase from the designated shopping mall up to 4 times per month (16 times per year), with each purchase ranging from a minimum of 30,000 KRW to a maximum of 100,000 KRW. By paying 20% of the order amount as a personal contribution, they can have the products delivered to their desired location. However, if applicants are currently receiving support from a similar program (Nutrition Plus Project), duplicate support is restricted, so applications can only be made after the similar program support ends.
Applicants who have already been issued a National Happiness Card can apply without submitting additional documents, but those without the card must attach a ‘Resident Registration Certificate’ and ‘Pregnancy/Childbirth Proof Documents’ when applying online.
Also, if applicants do not have a mobile phone registered in their name or are foreigners, identity verification is not possible, so they must attach ‘Resident Registration Certificate (or residence verification documents for foreigners)’ and ‘Pregnancy/Childbirth Proof Documents’ in file form.
Lee Dong-jin, Mayor of Dobong-gu, stated, “We hope that the Eco-friendly Agricultural Products Package support project will provide healthy food to pregnant women and children and serve as an opportunity to expand consumption and sales channels for eco-friendly agricultural products for farms.”
