Directed by Lee Jae-gyu and Kim Nam-soo, "All of Us Are Dead" quickly became Netflix's most popular program just one day after its release. According to FlixPatrol, an online video service (OTT) ranking site, the drama, which aired on the 28th, rose to number one on the Netflix TV program world ranking the next day (679 points). It surpassed the Spanish reality show "I Am Georgina" (525 points), featuring soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo and his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez, by a remarkable 154 points. It was the most watched program in twenty-five countries including South Korea, France, Germany, Brazil, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand. It also performed well in the United States and Japan, ranking third and second respectively.
"All of Us Are Dead" is a high-teen action thriller about students trapped in a school overrun by a zombie virus, fighting desperately to survive while waiting for rescue. Based on the webtoon of the same name, it delivers various tensions while conveying values such as friendship, love, and sacrifice. Directed by Lee Jae-gyu, known for dramas like "Damo" and "Beethoven Virus" and the film "Perfect Proposal," the series attracted attention even before its release. The screenplay was written by writer Cheon Sung-il, who worked on dramas like "Chuno" and "L.U.C.A.: The Beginning," as well as the "Pirates" film series. The cast includes Park Ji-hoo, Yoon Chan-young, Jo Yi-hyun, Lomon, Yoo In-soo, Lee Yoo-mi, and Lim Jae-hyuk. The production was handled by Film Monster and Kim Jong-hak Production.
