[Asia Economy Reporter Yoon Dong-joo] On the 28th, Lee Jae-myung, the presidential candidate of the Democratic Party of Korea, visited the Marine Corps 2nd Division at Aegibong Peace Ecological Park in Gimpo-si, Gyeonggi-do. Ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday, Candidate Lee encouraged the soldiers' hard work and discussed their difficulties through conversations with MZ generation soldiers and officers.
The Marine Corps 2nd Division visited by Candidate Lee is responsible for the longest border area in the entire military and is conducting high-intensity surveillance operations due to the joint investigation of the Han River estuary and the expansion of the Han River waterway opening operation range under the inter-Korean military agreement.
