The South Korean government is also monitoring the situation in Ukraine, where tensions are escalating, 24 hours a day.

On the 26th, a Ministry of Foreign Affairs official stated, "We are monitoring the local situation 24 hours a day to respond promptly to urgent situations," and added, "We will prioritize the safety of overseas nationals and the protection of Korean businesses, and prepare a thorough response system without any setbacks."

The embassy in Ukraine is securing drinking water and emergency food supplies, checking the safety status of overseas nationals, and advising on departure.

Currently, airports in Ukraine are operating normally. Nationals wishing to depart can do so via commercial flights. It is also reported that evacuation and support plans for overseas nationals in case of emergencies are being updated.
