Review of Objections to Boundary Decisions in the Land Readjustment Project for Hakdong District, Daepo District, and Junggi District
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam held a boundary determination committee meeting on the 24th regarding objections to boundary decisions for the cadastral re-survey projects in the ‘Hakdong District’, ‘Daepo District’, and ‘Junggi District’.
The boundary determination committee, composed of 10 members including the chairman, a judge from Changwon District Court Geochang Branch, reviewed and resolved a total of 25 objections including agreed boundaries, thereby finalizing the boundaries.
Accordingly, administrative appeals or administrative lawsuits can be filed within 60 days from the date of notification for Hakdong, Daepo, and Junggi. Adjustment payments will be calculated and paid or collected for each parcel with area increases or decreases based on the finalized boundaries and areas, and the project will be completed.
The cadastral re-survey is a national project conducted from 2013 to 2030. The current cadastral maps were created on paper during the Japanese colonial period and often do not match the actual conditions, so this project was implemented to correct these discrepancies.
Hamyang-gun is promoting 912 parcels in three districts (Hamyang Noesan, Jigok Geopyeong 1 District, Geopyeong 2 District) through projects in the second half of 2021 and 2022, accelerating boundary consultations and cadastral re-survey measurements.
A county official stated, “We expect that the cadastral re-survey project will resolve many inconveniences such as increased land use efficiency and securing village paths. We ask for continued interest and cooperation in the cadastral re-survey projects that will be carried out continuously in the future.”
