[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] The Ministry of Unification announced on the 25th that it will deliver gifts to unaccompanied North Korean defector children and adolescents during the Lunar New Year holiday.
Additionally, on Lunar New Year's Day, the Ministry plans to provide on-site guidance and support for memorial services such as offering flowers and incense for separated families and displaced persons wishing to pay respects at the Paju Imjingak Mangbaedan.
Meanwhile, Minister of Unification Lee In-young will host a New Year's greeting and policy briefing in the afternoon, inviting ambassadors of major countries in Korea and heads of international organization offices in Korea.
