The members are Kwon Hyuk-nam, Professor Emeritus of the Department of Journalism and Broadcasting at Jeonbuk National University; Kim Eon-gyeong, Director of the Media Human Rights Research Institute Mungkul; Kim Young-hoon, Vice President of the Korean Bar Association; Park Dong-soon, Director of the Korea YWCA Federation; Park Su-taek, ecological environment critic; Shim Mi-seon, Professor of Media Communication at Soonchunhyang University; Yoo Ki-cheol, former director of the Korea Broadcasting Culture Promotion Agency; Lee Dong-gyu, former director of the Election Bureau at the National Election Commission; and Lee Dong-jae, lawyer at Kim & Chang Law Office (in alphabetical order).

The term of office for the members is from January 31, the day before the start of the preliminary candidate registration application, until July 1, 30 days after the election day. The Election Broadcasting Committee plans to elect the chairperson and vice-chairperson through a secret ballot at its first meeting following the appointment ceremony on the 4th of next month.

Meanwhile, on the same day, the Korea Communications Standards Commission reviewed a total of seven programs including MBC-TV's "Black Sun" and decided on legal sanctions ranging from caution to warning.

"Black Sun," which received a "caution," broadcast scenes rated for viewers aged 19 and over, such as a corpse being thrown into the sea and sinking, scenes of murder with guns or knives, and close-up shots of bleeding corpses, and partially edited these scenes for rebroadcast during the youth protection viewing hours.

Programs such as Naewoeconomy TV's "Ask Your Real Estate Concerns Now Part 2," Maeil Economy TV's "Live Real Estate Today," and Pax Economy TV's "Stocks! The Taste of Investment," which provided excessive advertising effects for specific stakeholders, were given a "warning."

KBS-2TV's "Miss Monte Cristo," which broadcast scenes specifically mentioning the product features of indirect advertising, Tomato TV's "Let's Live Healthily," which displayed subtitles with phone numbers connecting to hospitals affiliated with the appearing medical personnel, and Channel J's "My Body Healing Diary" were finally decided as "caution."
