[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Isul] The undisputed number one, "Spider-Man: No Way Home," maintained its top position over the weekend.


According to the Korea Film Council's integrated box office data as of the 24th, "Spider-Man: No Way Home" attracted 161,586 viewers over the three-day weekend (21st-23rd), securing the number one spot at the box office. Since its release on the 15th of last month, it has recorded a cumulative audience of 7,169,050, continuing its success for over a month.


In second place, the animated film "Sing 2," released on the 5th, drew 107,899 viewers, climbing one spot, with a cumulative audience of 664,723.


Korean films released this month have shown disappointing results. "Special Delivery," starring Park So-dam and released on the 12th, ranked third with 88,580 viewers, totaling 394,211 viewers so far.


"The Policeman's Lineage," starring Jo Jin-woong and Choi Woo-shik, released on the 5th, attracted 57,359 viewers, ranking fourth, with a cumulative audience of 656,632.


Additionally, Lady Gaga's "House of Gucci" took fourth place, "Resident Evil: Raccoon City" entered at eighth, and "Another Round" ranked ninth.


The total number of moviegoers over the weekend was 523,540, which is more than 190,000 fewer than the 711,711 recorded the previous weekend. Since "Spider-Man: No Way Home" set a record with 1.83 million viewers on its opening weekend last month, attendance has steadily declined.
