The Bank of Korea Currency Museum Hosts Special Exhibition Commemorating 30th Anniversary of Korea-Ukraine Diplomatic Relations


[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] The Bank of Korea Currency Museum announced on the 24th that it will hold a special exhibition titled 'Meeting Ukraine through Currency: From Kyivan Rus to Euromaidan.'


The exhibition will be held from the 25th of this month to November 13th in the special exhibition hall on the second floor of the Bank of Korea Currency Museum.


This special exhibition is organized into six themes and will display over 250 pieces of Ukraine's current currency and commemorative coins, introducing the history, culture, and art related to the designs of the currency.


The Bank of Korea stated, "This exhibition, held to commemorate the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and Ukraine, will be an opportunity to experience Ukrainian culture and broaden understanding of its history and traditions," adding, "We expect it to be a meaningful occasion to promote friendship and cooperation between the two countries."
