[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] After completing a 6-night, 8-day tour of three Middle Eastern countries (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt), President Moon Jae-in returned to Korea on the morning of the 22nd and immediately instructed the government to take the lead in managing the Gwangju collapse accident.

Upon arrival, President Moon said regarding the Gwangju collapse accident situation, "There will be limitations to searching for missing persons, site management, and damage support by the efforts and strength of local governments and companies alone," and instructed, "Strengthen government support further and, in consultation with local governments, devise a plan for the government to play a leading role throughout the accident management process."

Meanwhile, President Moon toured the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia, and Egypt starting from the 15th and returned this morning via Air Force One through Seoul Airport.
