Building a Healthy E-commerce Ecosystem by Blocking Fake Reviews

In the full-fledged era of review commerce, where provocative content, fake reviews, and covert advertising cases are rapidly increasing, a service that provides video reviews from trustworthy actual buyers to foster a healthy e-commerce ecosystem between consumers and shopping malls is drawing attention.

‘VReview,’ Korea’s first AI-based video review service operated by Indent Corporation, is a one-stop platform that collects video reviews from actual buyers through its patented AI chatbot technology and automatically uploads them to online shopping malls. Thanks to enhanced convenience that allows consumers to upload reviews more easily and quickly, it secures an overwhelming number of video reviews, contributing to increased sales for online shopping malls.

In particular, VReview sends notification messages only to consumers who have actually purchased products from online shopping malls, significantly reducing the possibility of false reviews by those who have not purchased the products. As contactless shopping becomes a daily routine, VReview provides vivid purchase experiences while offering only ‘genuine reviews,’ creating opportunities for potential consumers to make rational purchases.

To resolve information asymmetry in the e-commerce market, Indent Corporation has filed a total of 14 intellectual property (IP) applications, including the ‘actual buyer review authentication patent.’ Last October, it introduced an innovative patented technology that provides opportunities to evaluate actual buyers’ product reviews and measure the reliability of those reviews based on the results. This year, the company plans to expand the scope beyond reviews to include evaluations of ‘reviewers’ themselves, focusing on creating a virtuous cycle where both consumers and shopping malls can win.

Innovating the 50 Trillion KRW Food Ingredient Market with Efficient Food Cost Management Service

Spoca, a startup providing solutions for small business stores, is leading innovation in the food ingredient distribution market with its food cost management app ‘Dodo Cart,’ which allows restaurant owners to manage their expenses with a single app.

Although the domestic food ingredient distribution market forms a massive market nearing 50 trillion KRW, restaurant workers have long experienced significant inconvenience due to the lack of a proper specialized platform. To address this, Dodo Cart was introduced, offering a free IT solution that automatically analyzes changes in suppliers and items based on expense data when restaurant owners upload photos of their food ingredient purchase statements to the app.

The analytical reports, which systematically organize food ingredient usage and costs, help restaurant owners smartly manage their food ingredient expenses. On-site, store owners using Dodo Cart report significant cost reductions and profit increases.

Dodo Cart also added a ‘Find Food Ingredient Suppliers’ feature that allows restaurant owners to view and compare distributors that other restaurants actually trade with at a glance. This service broadens options for owners to identify suppliers delivering quality ingredients and facilitates smoother communication with suppliers. Dodo Cart plans to focus on advancing the food ingredient industry through continuous upgrades.
