Jungjingong Hosts Entrepreneurship Talk Concert On the afternoon of the 21st, Chairman Kim Hak-do is speaking at the Entrepreneurship Talk Concert.

The Small and Medium Business Corporation (Chairman Kim Hak-do, hereinafter referred to as SBC) announced on the 21st that it held the 1st Entrepreneurship Talk Concert at COEX in Gangnam, Seoul.

SBC is scheduled to open the K-Entrepreneurship Center in Jinju, Gyeongnam, in March this year. This Entrepreneurship Talk Concert was planned to raise awareness of entrepreneurship among startup company and SME representatives, employees, and the general public ahead of the center's opening.

Starting in Seoul, SBC will hold a total of 11 talk concerts nationwide in six regions including Daejeon, Gwangju, and Busan until May. In particular, the event in April is planned to be held using the metaverse.

About 80 people attended the concert, including Kim Hak-do, Chairman of SBC, Nam Min-woo, Chairman of the Korea Youth Entrepreneurship Foundation, young entrepreneurs, SME employees, and students. Participants who could not attend on-site due to capacity limits joined in real-time via SBC’s YouTube channel.

In the first part, Jeong Dae-yul, President of the Ulsan-Gyeongnam Branch of the Korean Academic Society of Business Administration (Professor at Gyeongsang National University), gave a keynote speech on "Entrepreneurship and National Development." Following this, two representatives of young entrepreneurs, including graduates of the Youth Startup Academy, read the "Entrepreneurship Promotion and Practice Resolution" to express their commitment to practicing entrepreneurship.

In the second part, Nam Min-woo, Chairman of the Korea Youth Entrepreneurship Foundation, gave a special lecture on "Entrepreneurship of Change and Innovation," and Kim Sang-yoon, Professor at Chung-Ang University, delivered a lecture on "Metaverse, the Era of Digital Transformation," followed by a Q&A session.

Applications to participate in the regional Entrepreneurship Talk Concerts can be made through a separate website. On-site attendance is limited to 80 people on a first-come, first-served basis.

Chairman Kim Hak-do said, "In a situation where rapid changes are occurring in all fields including the economy, society, and culture, entrepreneurship is the driving force that creates new value through innovation and challenge and leads society," adding, "I hope that the talk concerts, which SBC plans to hold nationwide until May, will serve as a catalyst for spreading entrepreneurship in Korea."
