Kim Jo-il, Head of Jeonnam Fire Headquarters, Checks Progress on Safety Measures for Lunar New Year Holiday

Visit to Mokpo Fire Station and Anjwa 119 Safety Center

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Kim Jo-il, head of the Jeonnam Fire Headquarters, visited Mokpo Fire Station and Anjwa 119 Safety Center on the 20th to review fire safety issues and encourage the staff.

During this visit, Director Kim inspected safety measures for tourists during the Lunar New Year holiday, including Cheonsa Bridge and island areas, and had a conversation with the affiliated employees.

He also visited the construction site of the new Sinan Fire Station to check the progress and urged the construction personnel to ensure diligent workmanship.

Director Kim said, "I appreciate the efforts of the staff who are doing their best in on-site firefighting activities for the safety of the residents despite the COVID-19 situation," and added, "I hope you will do your best to become a trusted fire organization for the residents by carrying out tasks suited to the characteristics of the region."
