He also conducted on-site security inspections to ensure the safe visit of returning visitors and tourists coming to Jeju during the upcoming Lunar New Year holiday.
Chief Park visited Hallim Police Substation and checked the coastal rescue boat, which is maintaining an emergency dispatch posture in preparation for maritime accidents in the coastal waters.
In a situation where a preliminary storm warning was issued for all seas around Jeju Island recently, he awarded a commendation to an employee who worked hard to prevent safety accidents by actively taking ship avoidance measures.
He also encouraged police officers and conscripted policemen on the front lines, whose working environment has become more difficult due to COVID-19, and listened to their difficulties.
