[Gochang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jaegil] Jeonbuk Gochang-gun, the Korea Balsamic Vinegar Association, and the Korea Natural Fermented Vinegar Producers Association have joined hands to revitalize the county's vinegar industry and expand the base of vinegar culture.
According to the county on the 20th, the two organizations will collaborate on joint project planning for the development of the vinegar industry, information exchange and network building between institutions, and support for the development and production of natural fermented vinegar and balsamic vinegar processed products.
They will also continuously cooperate for the development of the vinegar industry and actively support promotional programs such as culture and tourism.
The Korea Balsamic Vinegar Association was established in 2020 to revitalize the balsamic vinegar market and to research and develop Korean-style K-Balsamic vinegar products.
It also carries out support activities related to production technology, education and consulting, commercialization, and marketing.
The Korea Natural Fermented Vinegar Producers Association operates under technology transfer from the Rural Development Administration National Institute of Agricultural Sciences.
The county expects that this business agreement with vinegar-related organizations will bring new vitality to the Gochang vinegar industrialization and the domestic vinegar market.
A county official said, "Mutual systematic and practical cooperation will be possible for the development of the vinegar industry in the future," and added, "We will strive to enhance the industrialization and competitiveness of Gochang-gun's vinegar."
