[Asia Economy Reporter Yoon Dong-joo] On the 19th, Lee Jae-myung, the presidential candidate of the Democratic Party of Korea, visited the Shindaebang 2-dong Senior Center in Dongjak-gu, Seoul, where he received the 'List of 1,000 National Senior Center Chairpersons Supporting Presidential Candidate Lee Jae-myung' from the chairpersons of senior centers nationwide.

At this event, Candidate Lee announced seven major pledges for the elderly, including the introduction of an annual "Middle-aged Allowance" of 1.2 million KRW until public pension payments begin after retirement, and the abolition of the couple reduction rule in the basic pension.

Additionally, at this event, one thousand senior center chairpersons nationwide declared their support for Candidate Lee Jae-myung.
