Hong Samjeong with Fast Absorption Using Compound K Fermentation Method


[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Chamdahan Hong Sam has launched ‘Hong Sam Jeong Compound K,’ made from high-priced fermented red ginseng raw materials, as its flagship product. This product converts ginsenosides, the core nutrients of red ginseng, into ‘Compound K,’ the final metabolite and bioactive form, enhancing absorption in the human body and strengthening physiological effects. It contains a high concentration of 24 mg of Compound K per 3 g daily intake.


The Compound K raw material (IH-901) is manufactured using a patented fermentation process, proven by SCI-level papers to have up to 23 times higher absorption rate and up to 4 times faster absorption speed. Additionally, ultra-fine red ginseng powder is blended in, allowing consumption of nutrients from red ginseng residue (red ginseng pulp) that cannot be obtained from red ginseng extract boiled in water. The red ginseng pulp contains many fat-soluble components effective for the human body, such as vitamin A, vitamin D, vitamin E, and vitamin K, so it is best consumed whole. Chamdahan’s ultra-fine red ginseng powder is made at 7?8 μm, smaller than plant cell size, maximizing both rich nutrition and absorption.


No sweeteners or synthetic fragrances that mask the bitterness of red ginseng are added, nor are preservatives, anti-caking agents, or thickeners used to increase viscosity or shelf life. Furthermore, experts safely produce the product in a state-of-the-art facility certified by HACCP, ensuring trusted quality.
