Hangeul Intelligence Acquires Digital Twin Technology Company 'Stance'

[Asia Economy Reporter Bu Aeri] Hancom Intelligence, a subsidiary of Hancom Group, announced on the 19th that it has acquired the digital twin technology company 'Stance.'

Digital twin is a technology that builds real environments or objects in a virtual world, predicts and optimizes through simulation and artificial intelligence (AI) learning, and reflects the results back into the real world.

Stance is a company that possesses full-cycle technology from data generation to analysis necessary for building virtual spaces of digital twins. Stance shortens development time through automation technology in creating real environments as three-dimensional (3D) data and has ultra-precise data technology that can visualize this. It holds a technological advantage in the digital twin field with VPS technology that recognizes the location of workers inside facilities without sensors.

Hancom Intelligence stated that it plans to expand related businesses by combining Stance's digital technology with its self-developed Internet of Things (IoT) technology 'NeoIDM.' A Hancom Intelligence official said, "We also plan to promote technology exchange necessary for building virtual worlds in cooperation with Hancom Frontis, a metaverse specialized company acquired last year."
