[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] Daekyo announced on the 18th that it has signed a business agreement with the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation, a domestic child welfare specialized organization, to guarantee children’s right to learn and improve learning gaps.

This agreement was prepared to provide equal educational opportunities and expand care education for children from vulnerable families and slow learners who face learning deficits and emotional difficulties.

Through this business agreement, the two organizations will promote ▲ one-on-one online and offline learning counseling and job experience programs through the Itda Class ▲ operation of training courses for experts on slow learners ▲ book support to guarantee the educational rights of children from vulnerable families.

Starting in March, Daekyo will expand the Itda Class nationwide to 100 people at welfare centers and child protection specialized institutions. In addition, Daekyo will donate 16,000 volumes of Daekyo’s complete book sets to 160 regional children’s centers nationwide under the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation.

A Daekyo official said, “Through cooperation with the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation, we will strive to provide equal educational opportunities to children by offering educational support needed for underprivileged classes and regions lacking learning opportunities.”
